Wheel Sand Washer
The XSD Series Wheel Sand Washer uses water to remove clay, dust, stone powder and other light impurities from natural or manufactured sand. A slow-turning wheel lifts the material from the washing tank, drains part of the free water and transfers it to the next process stage.
Overview
The XSD Series Wheel Sand Washer performs continuous wet cleaning of natural and manufactured sand for construction-material production.
Main components include the washing tank, impeller wheel, perforated panels, shaft, gearbox, motor and discharge chute. Slow rotation combines washing, lifting and return of free water to the tank.
Six models cover rated capacities of 20–300 t/h. Selection depends on feed grading, clay and fines content, water flow, required cleaning level and line capacity. The machine is not a final dryer; a dewatering screen can follow where low residual moisture is required, and a hydrocyclone recovery system can capture useful fines from the wash water.
